Sonu Sood offers to arrange travel for students appearing for JEE and NEET exams to help reach their centres

Students across India have been requesting the government to postpone the JEE and NEET exams in view of the pandemic. Earlier the Supreme Court had ordered for the competitive exams to be scheduled in September 2020. Post the verdict, the students have been taking to social media to voice their concern regarding the same.

Sonu Sood, who has been helping out people in distress, tweeted in favour of the students a few days back. He had requested the government to postpone the exams. “It’s my request to (the) government of India, to postpone the #Neet/#JEE exams in the current situation of the country! In the given #COVID19 situation, we should care utmost & not risk the lives of students! #PostponeJEE_NEETinCOVID,” he tweeted.

While the examination dates have not been deferred, Sonu Sood has offered to arrange travel for students from across the country to reach their examination center. On Friday, Sood took to his social media handle and wrote, "Students appearing for NEET JEE 2020, I am standing by you! If you are stuck anywhere, let me know your areas of travel. I will help you reach your examination centers. No one should miss their exam because of resources.”

Actors Sayani Gupta, Hussain Dalal, and Rishabh Kapoor starrer short film Shameless is India's official entry for Oscars 2021 in the Live Action Short Film category. The film is written and directed by Keith Gomes. Keith Gomes thanked the cast and crew of the film who are National and Oscar winners. He said he makes films with little funding from family and friends. He said that everyone comes together with loads of love and passion. Gomes said that he couldn’t be more blessed. Mads Mikkelsen replaces Johnny Depp in Fantastic Beasts 3 as Gellert Grindelwald, confirms Warner Bros

Earlier this month, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp announced his exit from the  Fantastic Beasts  franchise. In an elaborate statement on Instagram, the actor said that due to the current events related to the ongoing case against Amber Heard, Warner Bros asked him to resign. The actor was essaying the role of Gellert Grindelwald and had only filmed one scene in the third part. Soon after his exit, it was being reported that  Hannibal  and  Doctor Strange  actor Mads Mikkelsen was in early talks to replace Johnny Depp in  Fantastic Beasts 3.  Warner Bros has now confirmed the casting. According to Deadline, "Warner Bros on Wednesday confirmed that Mads Mikkelsen has been cast as Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3 .
